How YOU can help

There are many ways that you can help support the charity:

• make a donation;
• organising an even to raise some money;
  • a coffee morning,
  • a lunch,
  • a sponsored run/walk/swim etc.
• or something bigger like a party with an auction of donated items;
• encourage local business to collect for HOW, particularly businesses orientated towards women, e.g. beauty salons. Women helping women!
• one sponsor, once a month, asks everyone who comes to her home to contribute £1 to a collecting jar!

Twice a year, all supporters receive a newsletter about the women. Once a year some kind of get together is organised. This year it will be held in an art gallery in London which will raise some money and also give supporters to meet each other.

This is a small charity and we like everyone to know as much as possible about the women they are helping. Opportunities exist for supporters to meet the women nd hear their stories.
